Earned second-team All-Southern Conference honors from media and coaches. 2012—Played 13 games for 10-4 team that won two FCS playoff games ... Ranked third on team in postseason tackles (15) ... In regular season, had a 72-yard INT for a TD vs. Samford. 2011—Played 13 games with 12 starts for 11-3 team that logged two FCS playoff wins ... His 60 tackles included a season-high eight at Alabama. 2010—Freshman played 13 games, with seven starts, for 10-5 club that won three FCS playoff games ... Had two INTs, including one in playoffs against South Carolina State.

    High school: Attended Riverdale (Ga.) High School, where he earned first-team All-Region honors as a junior and second-team all-region honors as a senior... Team captain as a senior... Led Raiders in INTs as a junior ... Also lettered in track, with top events being triple jump and long jump.
