Friday quick hits: Lewis says Hawkins still day-to-day; Marvin Jones probable; Tix available

Marvin Jones

UPDATED: 2:15 p.m.

The Bengals announced Friday that Sunday's 1 p.m game against the Raiders at Paul Brown Stadium isn't a sellout and won't be on local TV for the second straight home game. The next one is a sellout when they host the Cowboys in a 1 p.m. game Sunday, Dec. 9. Tickets for the Raiders can be purchased at the ticket office or via the ticket hotline at 513-621-8383 until 5 p.m. Friday, 9-noon Saturday and the North ticket office opens at 9 a.m. Sunday. Tickets are also available any time by clicking here.

HAWKINS DOUBTFUL; JONES PROBABLE: It looks like wide receiver Andrew Hawkins (knee) isn't going to play for the second straight week Sunday. He hasn't practiced since injuring his knee in last Friday's practice and wasn't on the field for this Friday's session. Also out was tight end Richard Quinn (hamstring). They are both doubtful.

After practice head coach Marvin Lewis reiterated that Hawkins doesn't have a major injury and it is still day-to-day.

Everybody else is probable after practicing full on Friday. It was the first time rookie wide receiver Marvin Jones went full go after spraining his knee Oct. 21 against the Steelers. All signs point to him getting some snaps at X receiver opposite A.J. Green, but maybe not as many as the team had planned for him the night he got hurt against the Steelers. Fellow rookie receiver Mohamed Sanu got most of the snaps at X last Sunday as well as in the slot in a career-high 63 snaps.

WEATHER CHECK: The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio, is calling for partly sunny skies on Sunday with the kickoff temperature at 42 degrees and a high of 45 at about 3 p.m. No chance of rain with wind out of the southwest at 10-15 miles per hour.
